The “forget-me-not” is a plant with a special history.

According to legend, a couple in love were walking along the banks of a river.

At one point, the girl noticed a very beautiful blue flower near the water.

Her lover bent down to pick it, but lost his balance and fell into the rushing river. As the current carried him away, he managed to throw the flower away, shouting “forget-me-not!”……

Το πολύχρωμο λιβάδι

Η γη την άνοιξη είναι υπέροχη,

με τα πολύχρωμα, καταπράσινα λιβάδια της.

Με τα λουλούδια της, τις πεταλούδες της

και τις μέλισσες που βουτάν στα λουλούδια

για να πάρουν το νέκταρ και να μας δώσουν το μέλι.

Τα παιδιά παίζουν, τρέχουν και γελούν ξέγνοιαστα στο καταπράσινο λιβάδι.

Αχ! και να’ ταν όλη η γη ένα καταπράσινο λιβάδι…
